WITH temperatures about to plunge, many of us will be looking for the perfect winter coat.
Rather than spending hours trawling the high street though, New Look have a super cosy teddy coat and it is a dupe for a designer jacket - worth nearly £3k!
Fashionistas have been obsessing over Max Mara’s Teddy Icon coat, ever since it first debuted back in 2013.
Made from super soft faux fur and lined with silk, the oversized coat has become a winter staple with A-listers Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Karlie Kloss and even Celine Dion all wearing it at one point.
Despite the celeb endorsement though, shoppers are unwilling to part with several grand for a coat – especially with Christmas being just a few weeks away.
However, New Look have released a super cosy alternative -for just a fraction of the price.

The retailer’s ‘Teddy’ coat has similarly soft fabric which makes it a perfect dupe to Max Mara’s coveted coat.
Just like the designer version, the high street coat also features a super oversized silhouette and is perfect for layering jumpers underneath of as the weather turns colder.
Hitting just below the knees, this winter coat can be buttoned up and has deep side pockets so it's great for Boxing Day walks with the family.
If you weren’t already sold, it also costs over £2,000 less than the high end alternative.

Whilst Max Mara are charging a staggering for their coat, the New Look version will only set you back and can even be paid off in installments.
For those that haven’t done the maths, it’s a saving of £2660 - which should help keep the heating on at home.
There’s also another reason to get excited as the New Look coat comes in a stunning assortment of colours – six to be exact.
Whilst Max Mara’s coat is only available in camel, high street shoppers can choose from either black, grey, cream, camel, dark brown or khaki green.
As the budget friendly option is less than £100, you might be tempted to get every colour and we can’t say we’d blame you either.
With the coat also available in various sizes (6 to 22), everybody can have the chance to feel cosy this winter.
Though we are in love with the New Look outerwear, it’s not the only designer dupe we have our eye on over the festive season.
In fact, ASDA have also released a teddy-style coat which is incredibly similar to Toteme’s viral shearling jacket (£2,160).
Featuring the same monochrome colour scheme and toggle fastening, the low-cost dupe also has a cosy quilted lining which will help you stay warm on even the coldest winter nights.
Unlike the high end version though, the supermarket’s is a steal at just £45!
