ROSE McGowan has praised the brave women who spoke out against Harvey Weinstein - saying they were successful in "taking out a monster".
Speaking after the disgraced Hollywood mogul was found guilty on sex assault charges on Monday, the actress wrote: "I'm proud of the brave women who testified, they have taken out a monster on earth."

Rose, 46, added: "Thank you to the prosecutor & jury who said not one more."
And the star went on to post a scathing statement describing Weinstein - who she accused of rape - as "trash".
The statement read: "For once he won't be sitting comfortably.
"For once he will know what it's like to have power wrapped around his neck.
"Today is not a referendum on #MeToo. This is taking out the trash."
Her comments come after Weinstein was denied bail as he awaits his sentencing rape in the third degree and sexual assault.
He is due to linger behind bars at New York's infamous Rikers Island prison complex while staring down a potential 29 years in prison.
Other alleged Weinstein victims and leading activists among the #MeToo movement praised the result of .
Witness Annabella Sciorra wrote in a statement: "My testimony was painful but necessary.
"I spoke for myself and with the strength of the eighty plus victims of Harvey Weinstein in my heart.
"While we hope for continued righteous outcomes that bring absolute justice, we can never regret breaking the silence.
"For in speaking truth to power we pave the way for a more just culture, free of the scourge of violence against women."
Women's rights attorney Gloria Allred trumpeted the verdict as a signal that "this is the age of the empowerment of women" in a statement made on the courtroom steps.
She also denounced Weinstein's dark legacy of attacks and intimidation of women.
Meanwhile, Soraya Chemaly wrote: "The solution is not putting perpetrators in jail or firing all harassers.
"Also how I feel. Weinstein's verdict will make many people say 'Now let's put this behind us,' but 'bad men' are not the problem.
"The culture is and that means changing everything."

Mira Sorvino wrote: "The beginning of Justice. More to come, my sisters."
Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar chimed in with her support for the victims, writing: "This is a victory for the brave survivors who spoke out against Weinstein.
"Our system so often silences survivors and delivers injustice, so we can’t let up in our fight to lift up survivors and hold predators who abuse their power fully accountable."
TV host Padma Lakshmi wrote: "Weinstein terrorized and attacked women for decades. Now he will sit in a prison cell where he belongs.
"Sending so much love, support and most of all gratitude to Annabella Sciorra and all of the women who came forward."
She added: "If there's a man who doesn't deserve bail, it's him."
Actor Olivia Munn said: "Because of the women who testified, Harvey Weinstein was found guilty and is sitting in Riker's today.

Women who have accused Weinstein of rape:
Lysette Anthony told British police in October 2017 that Weinstein raped her in the late 1980s at her home in London.
Asia Argento told The New Yorker that in 1997, Weinstein invited her into a hotel room, "pulled her skirt up, forced her legs apart, and performed oral sex on her as she repeatedly told him to stop."
Paz de la Huerta said Weinstein had raped her on two separate occasions in November and December 2010.
Lucia Evans said, after a business meeting in 2004, Weinstein forced her to perform oral sex on him.
Hope Exiner d'Amore, a former employee of Weinstein, said he raped her during a business trip to New York in the late 1970s.
Miriam "Mimi" Haleyi, a production crew member, said Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on her in his New York City apartment in 2006 when she was in her twenties.
Dominique Huett said Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on her and then carried out another sexual act in front of her.
Natassia Malthe said in 2008, Weinstein barged into her London hotel room at night and raped her.
Rose McGowan wrote on Twitter that she told the Amazon Studios head Roy Price Weinstein had raped her, but Price ignored this and continued collaborating with Weinstein. Price later resigned from his post following sexual harassment allegations against him.
Annabella Sciorra said, in the early 1990s, Weinstein forced himself into her apartment, shoved her onto her bed and raped her.
Melissa Thompson, a tech entrepreneur, told Sky News Weinstein raped her in his hotel room following a business meeting in 2011.
An unnamed woman told The New Yorker that Weinstein invited her into a hotel room on a pretext, and "forced himself on her sexually" despite her protests.
An unnamed actress told the Los Angeles Times that in 2013, Weinstein "bullied his way" into her hotel room, grabbed her by the hair, dragged her into the bathroom and raped her.
An unnamed actress sued Weinstein for sexual battery and assault, alleging that in 2016 he forced her into sex.
However not everyone feels that justice has been served in full.
Comedian Kate Leth wrote: "I’m allowing myself to celebrate Weinstein’s conviction, despite it being 5% of what he should’ve faced, because catharsis just tastes good."
Activist Tarana Burke has been critical of the "incredibly narrow and unjust set of laws governing sexual assault" after Harvey Weinstein was acquitted of two counts of predatory sexual assault.
Filmmaker Judd Apatow was quick to remind people that this is only the beginning of the end for Weinstein.
He said: "Don’t forget- Harvey Weinstein faces four more charges in Los Angeles.
"This is just the beginning of holding him accountable."
