  • Nathan Aspinall 5-1 Chris Dobey

The Asp breaks again! He's one from victory!

Aspinall misses two darts at D16 for the break, with Dobey coming back for 52 and plays for tops instead of his usual D16.

That misses too and Aspinall comes back for D16 and D8 and misses his three darts at it, with Dobey missing D5 and then busting his score.

Nervy, tense moments before Aspinall comes back for D4 and pins it!

  • Nathan Aspinall 4-1 Chris Dobey

Massive hold of throw for Nathan Aspinall!

Dobey again missing a dart at D16 for the break to close the gap once again. When that misses, Aspinall comes back for 65 and only gets one dart at D16, which he pins yet again!

  • Nathan Aspinall 3-1 Chris Dobey

Superb from The Asp - he breaks right back!

Aspinall tries to go double-double finish on the 19s but misses the second.

Dobey then misses two at D16 for the hold to level up, leaving Aspinall two goes at D8 and he takes it out with the second of those.

  • Nathan Aspinall 2-1 Chris Dobey

    Aspinall hits a 9!

Sadly, it's the nine nobody wants as he pins 3xT1s. But he sees the funny side at least...

Dobey capitalises throughout the leg and takes the leg on D6 to halve the arrears and break the Aspinall throw.

  • Nathan Aspinall 2-0 Chris Dobey

Aspinall breaks the throw of Dobey and rushes into a 2-0 lead!

This time it's 89 that he has left and it's set-up superbly by a T19, before needing two pops at D16 before pinning it for that break.

He looks so in control of his game tonight.

  • Nathan Aspinall 1-0 Chris Dobey

Aspinall picking up where he left off in a really tight leg.

He leaves 70 and Dobey goes every step of the way with him to leave 76.

Aspinall gets first throw but only gives himself one dart at double and it's all he needs to pin D16.

  • Good reception for Dobey too

And he's all smiles on stage before a big handshake and hug with Aspinall.

Important 20 minutes or so ahead.

Nathan Aspinall will throw first too - GAME ON!

  • Here they come

Nathan Aspinall still looks pretty relaxed, yet also pretty focused, as he thunders down the walkway.

And one last chance for Mr Brightside for this Aberdonian crowd!

He's all smiles on conducting duty yet again.

  • Final odds

    The bookmakers can't split them!

    • Nathan Aspinall 9/10
    • Chris Dobey 9/10
  • Welcome along

To those of you experiencing problems with your Sky TV....

It's been some night of darts and there's still a big final to come.

For Aspinall, he'll have one foot in the 02 if getting over the line here.

For Dobey, it would actually keep his slim, slim chances of nicking a top four spot alive if he won.

  • The Aberdeen final

    Nathan Aspinall vs Chris Dobey.

  • Dobey defeats Littler in a thriller!

    Chris Dobey 6-5 Luke Littler

A proper solid performance from Chris Dobey in the Granite City to break Luke Littler in the final leg to win 6-5!

Littler missed four darts for the match in the end Dobey punished him having earlier missed darts for the match himself.

The relief on Dobey's face when finding the D16 bed shows what that means.

  • Chris Dobey 5-5 Luke Littler

Dobey picked the worst time to throw in his worst leg of the night and Littler punishes him with those six perfect darts.

He even has time to bust his score instead of messing around on D5.

Into a decider and Littler has the darts for it!

  • Chris Dobey 5-4 Luke Littler

But no eighth perfect dart from Littler!

  • Chris Dobey 5-4 Luke Littler

    SEVEN perfect darts from Littler....

  • Chris Dobey 5-4 Luke Littler

    Six perfect darts from Littler.

  • Chris Dobey 5-4 Luke Littler

    Nervy times now for Dobey...

A good hold from Littler who hits 140 to leave 76 and takes it out via D20 at the end!

He now needs a break and hold to win and this is very much squeaky bum time for Dobey.

  • Chris Dobey 5-3 Luke Littler

Belter from Littler there when he needed it most and he gets a break back!

Dobey with a couple of loose arrows there in his set-up play and Littler comes back for 130, going T20, 20 before a bullseye shot that could not have been any more centred!

Superb and this one is very much on....

  • Chris Dobey 5-2 Luke Littler

    Dobey double break!!

He's now 63% on his doubles and he's flying through this one!

Having said that, he's had a slice of luck with Littler missing darts at D20, D10 and then D5!

Dobey came back for 70 and finds the corner of the T18 bed before the middle of the D8. He's one leg from victory!

  • Chris Dobey 4-2 Luke Littler

Really good hold of throw from Dobey as it came under some scrutiny there!

Littler misses a dart at D12 for the break to level it up and instead can only hit the single, leaving Dobey to come back for 16 and he takes it out to maintain that advantage from the earlier break.

  • Chris Dobey 3-2 Luke Littler

Another easy, routine hold. This time it's for Littler.

Dobey's scoring deserted him entirely there and Littler moved through the gears to take out 81 in three darts to move back within one.

He still needs a break back, though!

  • Chris Dobey 3-1 Luke Littler

He's flying! Littler is left back on 220 when Dobey takes to the oche needing 76 and he needs all three darts to take it.

But no issues with the D20 with the final dart and he looks in complete control.

  • Chris Dobey 2-1 Luke Littler

Superb break of throw from Dobey to edge ahead!

He's looked superb so far tonight and that 101 checkout confirms it. A poor dart misses low at T20, but he recovers to hit T19, D12 and move ahead in the match.

He's averaging 120 at this point!

  • Chris Dobey 1-1 Luke Littler

Dobey misses a dart at tops for a 160 and Littler comes back on 322 to hit a 180.

So a little bit of pressure on the 20 left for Dobey but he finds D10 with his first go to level it up.

  • Chris Dobey 0-1 Luke Littler

    What a ridiculous leg.

Littler hits six perfect darts but falls short with dart seven. Dobey hits a 180 of his own to leave 170, only to miss the bullseye for the big fish.

Littler comes back for 25 and his two-dart combo ends with D10 to wrap up the opener on throw.
