Taylor Swift enjoys some much needed girl time with her squad after brief hiatus during whirlwind romance
The newly-single singer enjoyed a night out with her famous pals in New York
TAYLOR Swift was seen enjoying a night out with members of her girl squad as she continues to enjoy the single life following her split from British actor Tom Hiddleston.
The 26-year-old appears to be focused on spending time with her famous pals again after a brief hiatus, following her whirlwind relationship with Avengers star Tom and her public feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West earlier this year.
Taylor was all smiles as she made her way into the Waverly Inn alongside supermodel Cara Delevingne.
The pair enjoyed a meal with other stars including singer Lorde, musician Jack Antonoff, actress' Sienna Miller and Brooke Shields and model Suki Waterhouse.
Pop star Taylor showed off her newly trimmed bob as she stepped out in a simple black knit dress and a stylish trench coat.
She completed her leggy ensemble with open-toe boots while Cara rocked a black crop top and high-waisted jeans with a navy bomber jacket and open-toe boots.

Cara - who has reportedly split from her girlfriend St Vincent following a year of dating - will no doubt have provided a friendly ear to Taylor after her split from Tom, 35.
The couple were first revealed to be dating in exclusive pictures by The Sun, and in the following weeks they barely left each other’s sides as they enjoyed romantic breaks in Rome, and England, where Taylor even met Tom’s mother.
But at the start of September it was reported the couple had hit the rocks, with both sides claiming they were the one who ended things.
While Taylor’s camp insisted she called time on the romance after realising the Thor actor was “fame hungry”, Tom’s side revealed he had cut the cord after growing “bored” of the pretty blonde.
Meanwhile, Taylor also suffered another blow in July when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West leaked the rapper's phone conversation with Taylor in which she gave her seal of approval to his controversial track Famous - after she had publicly called out the rap star for the harsh lyrics.
Despite strongly denying ever speaking to Kanye about the song which brands her “a bitch”, the Blank Space singer could be heard referring to the lyrics as “a compliment” in the video Kim Kardashian posted to Snapchat.
The video also doesn’t see Taylor approve the “that b****” line, rather just the reference to them potentially having sex.
