Stranger Things actor Charlie Heaton breaks silence on cocaine bust
The British star was caught with the drug at a US airport last October

STRANGER Things star Charlie Heaton has broken his silence after being busted for cocaine use last year.
The 24-year-old actor said the situation was "f***ing awful" and admitted it happened at a time he still hadn't accepted his new-found stardom.
Speaking about the incident for the first time to magazine, he confessed: "It was f***ing awful. It was just awful. It was hard. Everything happened so fast, and I hadn't come to terms with the fact that I was famous.
"When something steps in from the work you are doing and breaks into your personal life...you feel kind of vulnerable."
Charlie was caught carrying cocaine in his luggage while travelling to the US for the launch of Stranger Things series two in October 2017.
US law States that cocaine "for personal use" is not allowed to pass into the country no matter how small the amount.
He was not arrested but sent back to the UK the same night.
The bust of course meant his future on the show was thrown into doubt, though the star has confirmed he has been allowed back into the US to film the third series of the hit Netflix sci-fi.
"At the end of the day I just wanted to go back,' he explained. 'I want to work and continue to work—that's all I've ever done."
Shortly after the bust, Charlie released a statement to People, which claimed he planning to "rectify" the situation and reiterated that he was not charged or arrested for the offence.

He said: "My planned travel to the U.S. last week was affected by an issue at U.S. immigration, and I am working to rectify it as soon as possible.
"I do want to clarify that I was not arrested or charged with a crime, and cooperated fully with the U.S. officials at LAX."
