Love Island voiceover star Iain Stirling to move in with girlfriend Laura Whitmore

LOVE ISLAND is having as much of an impact on the presenters as it is on the contestants.
Just weeks after host Caroline Flack’s whirlwind engagement to Andrew Brady, I’m told Iain Stirling, who provides the show’s distinctive voiceover, is preparing to move in with Laura Whitmore.
Telly presenter Laura is buying a home, and friends say the couple will turn it into a love nest — despite dating for less than a year.
A source close to the pair said: “They haven’t been together too long but she wanted to buy a house. It’s their relationship getting more serious.
“Because of their busy jobs they don’t get to spend a lot of time together but this will mean they will see a lot more of each other.
“They are very steady as a couple and it is the natural next step.”
The pair met in 2016 and romance developed last summer, despite comedian Iain’s commitments narrating the hit ITV2 series.
After months of staying coy about the romance, Iain opened up in March, saying: “I’ve got someone who’s like me, but much, much better.
“And Laura’s got someone who’s like her, but much worse. I’ve done well out of it, but I’m dead happy because she’s lovely and stuff.”
Theirs isn’t the only romance blooming from the Love Island villa.
Tonight saw doctor Alex hit it off with new girl Rosie. And there were sparks between Niall and another newbie Georgia.
She said after: “I never thought I’d fancy someone straight away but Niall instantly did catch my attention for sure.”
Things won’t stay calm for long.
Riri gets shirty
RIHANNA split up with her boyfriend just days ago – and it looks like she is yet to return one of his shirts.
She wore this over-sized item to a bash in New York for her Clara Lionel Foundation, which she launched in 2012 in honour of her grandparents to help poor communities around the world.
Rihanna had been dating Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel for more than a year but she is said to have “grown tired” of the billionaire, according to US sources.
Her mum was there to comfort her at the event on Wednesday.
After losing Rihanna, it’s surely Hassan who’ll need a shoulder to cry on.
Too much red Rod?
Rod Stewart wore a cream suit for a dinner date with wife Penny Lancaster – and was lucky to avoid changing its colour when he spilled a glass of red wine over the table cloth and floor.
And from there, his quiet Wednesday evening at fancy seafood restaurant Scott’s, in London’s Mayfair, turned into something else entirely.
As the couple left to go home, a happy looking Rod tumbled head-first into a limo.
I doubt he was smiling so much when that hangover struck this morning.
World Cup Anthem is Ricky business
Ricky Wilson and Freddie Flintoff are hoping to unite the country with a rousing England World Cup anthem.
But their re-working of Boney M’s disco tune Rasputin has threatened the peace in the Kaiser Chiefs frontman’s house.
The Leeds rocker has been booted out of the bedroom by his fiancée Grace Zito after driving her mad with replays of the song, which praises star striker Harry Kane.
In an exclusive chat, Ricky said: “Every time I played it I had to go off into the spare room because Grace didn’t want to hear it any more.
“She said she couldn’t sleep because it was going around and around in her head.”
Their unofficial anthem, Rasputin Rebooted, which tells the story of the England captain rather than Rasputin, a Russian mystic who could predict the future, was released today and features the lyrics: “There lived a certain man in England long ago, he was big and strong, he played football like a pro. Ha ha, Harry Kane, England’s greatest goal machine.”
The song was funded by online bookmakers BetStars after the moody FA refused to commission an official tune as the squad attempt to win the World Cup in Russia.
Cricket legend Freddie, pictured filming the music video with Ricky, had secret singing lessons before the recording. He joked: “I was hanging out for CHICO but he wasn’t available.
“This time could be England’s year. I can imagine Dele Alli pumping this out at warm-ups.”
Hopefully the nation will give it a spin, too.

Monkeys go wild
ARCTIC MONKEYS took to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall tonight for a gig in support of charity War Child.
The rockers announced the gigs just three weeks ago, prompting hysteria from fans trying to bag a ticket via a ballot.
But Bizarre was lucky enough to land a pass to check out the hugely popular show.
And it proved well worth the fuss, as Alex Turner and co satisfied the audience’s hunger for their return with a world-class set featuring songs from their new album alongside old favourites.
They’re back – with a bang.

Chicken Boltie
CHICKEN nugget-loving Usain Bolt is on a strict diet ahead of Soccer Aid for Unicef this weekend – as he’s scared of fellow player Joe Wicks.
Speaking at the Fulham training ground, Ben Shepard, who will also take part, revealed: “Usain and I sat down for lunch and he didn’t have chicken nuggets.
“He was probably conscious because Joe The Body Coach was there.”
The star-studded match takes place at Old Trafford on Sunday and airs on ITV at 6.30pm.
KANYE WEST was due to host a stream last night of Kids See Ghosts, his collaborative album with rapper KID CUDI, out now. It comes a week after live-streaming his album Ye from a Wyoming ranch.
Angelina's a safe bet
SHE’S in the UK to reprise her role as Maleficent, the Mistress of All Evil, but despite her vicious on-screen superpowers Angelina Jolie isn’t taking any chances off set.
During filming for the sequel, the actress is staying just outside London in picturesque Surrey, where she’s renting a stunning home with her six children.
But in the wake of a spate of high-profile robberies by moped gangs – including on comedian Michael McIntyre who was targeted by hammer-wielding thieves – I’m told Angelina, has substantially upped her security detail fearing A-listers make a major target.
A source tells me: “Angelina appears to be taking the alarming number of robberies very seriously after seeing the news.
“She has massively increased her security team this week.
“There are loads of them and she isn’t travelling anywhere without being flanked by heavies.
“She’s a smart woman who takes no chances where safety is concerned so reacted to the news about the moped incidents immediately.”
Figures reveal more than 60 moped crimes a day are now being reported in the capital, so perhaps she’s right to be cautious.
